About Us:

Our marriage and parenthood with our beautiful daughter are the greatest gifts on earth. We are truly best friends and high school sweethearts. We live a very fun and joy filled life together. We have an absolutely massive family and a close knit community of friends. Our friends and family support and love us so well. No matter what we are doing we will always have someone (or two or three people!) tagging along to keep us company. We are believers in Jesus. We fully accept that because of Christ alone, we can live as people that are free. True freedom is not a cover up for evil or selfishness but living as servants of God (1 Peter 2:1). He meets us all where we are and calls us out of our sin. He gives us His acceptance and love, despite all our past and future failures (Romans 8:1) but will never leave us unchanged. For this same reason, we love all life! Life is a gift, and every human life is unique in that God made mankind in his own image and likeness, giving every life high dignity and value.

Why Adopt?

We have always felt called to adopt, since we’ve been dating. Having so many adoption stories in our family (9 unique adoption journeys) we’ve truly been blessed with a very personal and well-rounded perspective of adoption. Our desire to adopt was confirmed when we adopted our daughter in 2024. The process was very positive as we had built a strong relationship with birth mom and we still keep in contact with her today!

About Nate:

I grew up and attended higher education in Pennsylvania. In 2016 I started working with my family's mechanical business alongside school. Today I am the project and construction manager. I enjoy my trade and being a part of growing our family company. A highlight of what I do is working with and leading other men in my trade. Also, I enjoy getting to see my family every day, working alongside my dad, brother, cousin and brother-in-laws. My friends would describe me as intentional, a man of high integrity, and a problem solver. I enjoy getting together with family and friends over a barbecue, a day on the beach or a fun game/sport. I am passionate about Christ, devoting my life to Him. Also, I am passionate about pursuing a deep relationship with my wife and my daughter, and I strive to be a strong leader for my family.

About Devon:

I grew up and attended college in Pennsylvania. I worked as a special education teacher and nanny before becoming a stay-at-home mom in 2023. I truly have a love for all children, I believe every child has God given worth and is made in His precious image. Being a mom is my joy and calling in life. The best part is undoubtedly the unconditional love that we have for one another, and being able to utilize all the skills daily that I learned as an educator. My friends would describe me as bubbly and outgoing. I love going out to a good restaurant, water ice runs, a scenic trail or a game night. But, I will always cherish the time we can retreat to our home for quality family time.

10 Quick Facts:

1.Do you have any pets?

Yes! We have a dog, she is an English bulldog and her name is phoebe(after the show Friends). She is an older dog so she typically likes to sunbathe and bark at the mail man or animals that live in the front yard.

2.What is your go-to ice cream order?

Nate’s go-to order is chocolate peanut butter ice cream (or anything chocolate based), in a cup with chocolate sprinkles. Devon’s order is banana or mint chocolate chip ice cream, in a cup with hot fudge and rainbow sprinkles. Our daughter usually goes for a popsicle, red cherry or pink grapefruit are her favorite flavors.

3.What is your favorite family meal?

As a family we love to grilled up steak or chicken with a giant strawberry salad, mashed potatoes and Hawaiian rolls on the side. Bonus points if there is homemade sweet tea involved!

4.Do you go on family vacations?

Yes, we try to travel with our little family at least once a year. In 2025 we were lucky enough to visit Disney World, it was so fun! Also, we frequently go to the family shore house in New Jersey.

5.What is your favorite family tradition?

Our favorite family tradition is picking and decorating our Christmas tree. Every year we take our family picture with the tree. We usually end the night going to the Christmas store Feeney’s where they have a giant snow village display to enjoy.

6.What is your experience with adoption?

Nate has truly grown up with adoption all around him. Since being married, Devon gets to join in hearing and sometimes experiencing the adoption part of these family members life stories. We have 9 unique adoption journeys in our family, some people have domestic adoption in their stories, others have international adoption and one has a birth parent story. Also, we have taken extensive adoption education courses, over 2024 and 2025 so we feel very prepared to take this step with you.

7.What are your childcare plans following adoption?

Devon is a full time mom! She plans on caring for all our children as a stay-at-home mom.

8.Are you willing to discuss a name for the child with the prospective birth parents?

We are absolutely happy and willing to discuss potential names.

9.What kind of communication do you wish to have with your future child’s birth parents?

We desire to continue communication with our future child’s birth family. This could include: photos, videos, telephone or FaceTime calls, text messages, emails or visits coordinated by us and the birth family.

10.How do you anticipate your next child will impact your life?

Psalm 127 says that children are to be received as an expression of God’s goodness and grace. We are confident that the addition of more children, and their birth families will have an amazing and joyful impact on our lives. We met our daughter’s birth family and received our daughter in our home on only a few hours notice. Through that first adoption experience it has taught us to not be scared but rely on the strength and love of the Lord and support of our community.
