Hello,

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our profile. Wherever life finds you today, we pray that you will know God’s love for you in a very special way. Please know from the bottom of our hearts that we truly desire the very best for you and for your child.

We can’t begin to imagine the struggle you are going through, but please know that we are praying for you. Whether you choose adoption for your child or decide to parent, we know that God has the perfect plan for you and for your baby. He sees you, He knows you, and He loves you. We know that Adoption is BEAUTIFUL & HARD all at the same time. God says in his word that He “makes beauty from ashes”. Even in the midst of pain, loss, and suffering, God can bring about healing, restoration, and new beginnings. We pray this for you!

We understand that choosing adoptive parents for your child is a huge decision, so we have tried to be as transparent as possible so that you can make the best decision for you and for your baby.

Thank you so much for considering us as you plan for the future of your child! We can’t wait to meet you!

David’s Occupation: IT Director at our church

Rebekah’s Occupation: Counselor at a non-profit pregnancy center

About Us:

We both grew up in South America, and are both bilingual. David grew up in Paraguay and speaks Spanish. Rebekah grew up in Brazil and speaks Portuguese. Growing up in South America has given us both a love and appreciation of Latin food and culture, as well as a general appreciation for different kinds of cultures. Our families are a beautiful blend of Latin and American culture. We believe that God loves diversity, and we hope to incorporate and celebrate the culture of our future child into our family traditions.

We are a team, and love to do life together! Whether its cooking in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, going for walks with our two dogs, hiking, hanging out at the beach, or just relaxing on our front porch reading a book. Home for us is a peaceful sanctuary. It’s where we recharge and do life together. Rebekah loves to decorate and make our home beautiful. Our home is filled with lots of laughter, love, two lovable dogs, plants, candles, books, and cozy throw blankets. Our lives are very people oriented. We invest a lot of time into our families, and into our church community. We regularly have friends and family over for meals.

Our faith in Jesus is also very important to both of us. We are both very involved in our local church. They are truly a second family to us. We are blessed to have an amazing church community made up of friends and family members that are standing with us in this adoption. Everyone has been so supportive! We are blessed to say that our child will not just be adopted into a loving family but into an entire church community.

We love children and have always wanted to be parents. From our eleven-year journey with infertility, we have learned that sometimes things don’t work out the way we plan. However, we believe that “GOD WORKS ALL THINGS FOR HIS GOOD, and His plan is far greater than we could ever have imagined. Even before we struggled with infertility God placed a desire in our hearts to someday adopt children into our family. We believe that adoption is a huge privilege as well as a calling that we do not take lightly. We are so excited to adopt and can hardly wait to grow our little family.

About David, by Rebekah:

David is thoughtful, funny, smart, and kind. From the day I first met him I knew I had met my best friend. He has a huge heart for people and is always looking for ways to lend a helping hand. Even though he is an introvert, he makes friends quickly wherever he goes. David has a great sense of humor and loves to make people laugh. There is very little he can’t do, from working on computers, to fixing things around the house, to baking bread or making elaborate cakes. He is athletic and enjoys coaching and playing soccer. He is also super smart and loves to read. David is a great uncle to all his nieces and nephews. They absolutely adore him and think he is hilarious. Fun fact about David, he loves babies and has always wanted to be a dad. I call him the baby whisperer because he can calm any crying baby.

About Rebekah, by David:

Rebekah is warm and kind and genuinely cares for others. She loves meeting new people and will take the time to get to know them no matter who they are. She is great at listening and asking questions, which makes her an incredible counselor. She is patient, and motivated. She is fun to hang out with and loves new experiences. She doesn’t just want to experience new things for herself, she wants to share those experiences with everyone she loves. Family is very important to her, and she will do anything for them. She is an amazing aunt to our 18 nieces and nephews.  She loves to do fun, special things with them like having them over for sleepovers or throwing birthday parties. She loves deeply and will be an amazing mother! She is the best person I know.
