Sam & Rebecca
Hello,
We are Sam and Rebecca, and it truly is such a gift to “meet” you. Even though we may not know each other yet, please know that you have been on our hearts. We can only imagine how many emotions you must be carrying right now — hope, uncertainty, love, and maybe even fear. This journey is so deeply personal and important, and we want you to know that we are praying for you, for clarity, for comfort, and for peace in every step you take.
Family has always been incredibly important to us. For as long as we can remember, it has been on our hearts to adopt a child. After years of struggling to conceive, there were moments of deep disappointment and questions about what our path to parenthood would look like. Through that time, though, our desire to become parents only grew stronger. It became clear to us that adoption wasn’t a “second option” — it was the way our family was meant to begin. While the road here hasn’t always been easy, it has strengthened our faith, deepened our love for one another, and prepared our hearts in ways we never expected.
We want you to know that if you choose us, your child will grow up in a home filled with laughter, encouragement, faith, and unconditional love. They will be celebrated for exactly who they are. They will have scraped knees kissed, bedtime stories read, school plays cheered for, and a safe place to land no matter what life brings. And we will always honor the incredible love and courage it took for you to make this decision.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We do not take that lightly. More than anything, we pray that you feel peace and confidence in whatever decision you make — for yourself, for your family, and for your child. Your love for your child is evident, and it is deeply respected.
With love and gratitude,
Sam and Rebecca

About Us:
A little about us — we are a fun-loving couple who genuinely enjoy doing life side by side. We love to laugh (sometimes at the silliest things), be a little goofy together, and create a home that feels warm and welcoming to everyone who walks through our door. We look for any excuse to gather people around our table for a home-cooked meal. Some of our favorite nights are our weekly game nights with friends, filled with friendly competition and lots of laughter. Once a month, we host a themed dinner where we get to stretch our cooking skills and try something new — whether it turns out perfectly or becomes a funny memory we talk about for years. Being surrounded by our people, sharing stories, laughing until our cheeks hurt, and enjoying good food are some of the things that fill our hearts the most.
We first met in Middle School orchestra class, but our story does not begin until Sophomore year of High School when we met and started dating. We hit some bumps along the way, and dated long distance for a few years during college. We got engaged in February of 2015, and Becca almost ruined our engagement because she was so worried about being late! After a two and a half year engagement we were married back in our hometown in Ohio in November 2018. We moved to Virginia full time in 2018 and have called it home since.
We have been a part of our church for 10 years and have built an incredible community of people around us! Rebecca serves as leadership in the Children’s Ministry and Foster and Adoption Ministry, and Sam serves on our coffee ministry. We have also been blessed to be a part of our small group for the last 7 years.
From the beginning of our relationship, adoption has always been something we hoped to pursue. As we have moved through life, we have been able to see the great things that can come from fostering and adopting through friends, family, our church, and Rebecca’s work.
About Sam, by Becca:
Sam is the hardest working and most giving person I have ever met. He would do anything for anyone including giving the shirt off his back. His work ethic is unmatched and he does it all with so much joy. He is a foodie and a self-proclaimed coffee snob. He has certainly introduced me to a lot of new food and drink! One of the best things about him is that he is always up for an adventure. Any crazy idea I get, or new thing I want to try, he is always on board! Sam loves all kinds of music, being outside, cooking in the kitchen, and getting a little crafty!
About Becca, by Sam:
Who is Becca? Becca is the person who is constantly thinking of the needs of others before her own. She loves fully and makes the most of any situation. My favorite thing about Becca is her love of baking. She would bake a different dessert for everyone she met if our kitchen was big enough. She enjoys quiet mornings with a book and a blanket, but will dominate in a game of UNO that evening. On the weekends, she strolls the farmers market for fresh flowers and sweets to munch on while sipping on a hot cup of coffee or tea.
