David & Megan
Hi there!
Our names are David and Megan. We are so excited to meet you, even if it is just through this letter for now. We have great respect and admiration for your bravery and pray that God leads you as you decide what is best for you and your baby.
We don’t currently have any kids, but always knew that we wanted to adopt. When Megan was in middle school, she heard an orphanage speak at her church. She was moved by their words and ever since that moment, made a commitment to pursue adoption. She told David of her plan early into dating, and he was completely on board! We hope to continue to grow our family through the gift of adoption so that our children can grow up with siblings.
We want you to know that if you choose us, your child will grow up in a home filled with laughter, love, encouragement, and faith. They will grow up being celebrated and cared for. We will show them all the beauty the world has to offer, whether that is through travels, experiencing new hobbies, or growing in their relationship with God and others. We will always honor the incredible love and courage that you displayed in making this decision. We would love to have a relationship with you and an open adoption if that is something that you are open to. We have a few names in mind for our child, but would also love to hear your ideas!
We want to thank you for taking the time to read this and learn more about our family. We pray that God brings you peace and clarity in the decision you make for you and your child. Whatever you decide, we wish you all the best!

David’s Occupation: Customer Support Representative at a Christian Financial Tech Company
Megan’s Occupation: Operations Manager and Head Coach at a CrossFit Gym
About Us:
David is from California and Megan is from Ohio. We met in college in 2017 in a physiology class and hit it off! We started dating in 2018 and continued to date after graduation, even when Megan moved to China for a year to teach abroad.
In our free time, we love to spend time outdoors with our dog, Kaiba. Megan will take Kaiba on long runs throughout the week, and then we both will take him hiking on weekends. When we are not exercising, we love exploring new cities, finding new coffee shops, and trying new foods. David is obsessed with finding the best donut in every city he goes to. We also love watching cooking shows and reading.
Family is very important to us. We both call our parents and siblings at least once a week and visit them whenever we can. Both David’s parents are from the Philippines, while Megan’s dad is from Cuba and her mom is of European descent. We both grew up surrounded by these unique cultures. We respect the journeys that our parents went through to come to this country, and would love to keep some of their traditions alive in our family! David has a sister who is three years older than him. She is married and has a boy and a girl that we are absolutely obsessed with. We love being the aunt and uncle that get to spoil them! Megan has an identical twin sister that she is very close with. Although they look alike, they have unique personalities and many people find it easy to tell them apart.
We are extremely grateful to also have a supportive group of friends in our hometown. We love to have friends over to eat dinner or play games. We also often go to friends’ houses for campfires, meet up for ice cream, and workout together. We have an amazing support system of family and friends that are excited for us to bring a child into our lives.
We appreciate you taking the time to get to know us a little bit and would love to answer any questions you may have. We pray that God brings you peace and watches over you on this journey.
About David, by Megan:
David is such a thoughtful and kind person. He is intentional at building relationships and genuinely cares about others. I was drawn to him because of his caring smile, willingness to help others, and gift of spiritual leadership. He is a calm presence whenever our lives get crazy. He is definitely the more “level-headed” and “homebody” of the two of us. While he is very social, he also appreciates time to relax at home. He is great at bringing me back to reason when I have daredevil ideas or overbook our schedule with an insane amount of social activities. He treats me incredibly well and even makes me coffee every morning. I love that he only calls me “Meganda”, which means “beautiful” in Tagalog, but is also a pun because it has my name in it. I love to workout with him, talk about books we're reading, and go on walks with our dog together. I see how great he is with the kids at the gym where I work, and I know that he will be a great dad. He is a bit of a goofball, loves to laugh, and has the WORST “dad jokes”!
About Megan, by David:
The first time I met Megan I instantly knew she was out of my league. Not just because I found her beautiful, but because she was immensely smart, athletic, and loved others so deeply. In college, Megan was on the ice skating and synchro skating teams, was part of the honors program, had a 4.0, volunteered at her church on Wednesday nights, and was part of an evangelism club. I was surprised she even had time for me. But, with all the responsibilities she had in her life, she never made me feel like an afterthought. Her ability to make everyone she spends time with feel seen and valued is what I love about her the most. We have been married since 2021 and she hasn’t changed. She continues to be involved with many things and still finds thoughtful ways to show she loves me. I am confident that Megan will intentionally love our future child and will teach our child to be a determined, empathetic, and loving person.
